Hot deals - post 'em if you got 'em.

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For those that are interested but didn't already know, the 105 5800 group is now available for order. Ribble ha it for $441. I know some people will spend the extra $224 to get 6800, but I think $441 is a nice price fr thefull group.

Because lots of things were on sale. As of this morning, they are featuring the sale on their splash page. I bought a pair of women's Sky shorts for half price. Quantities are limited though. Lots of jerseys. Like I said though, it still ain't cheap.

5800 is even cheaper (through Tuesday) on Ribble. $407.48 for the full group shipped to US; yikes!

The Giro Air Attack Shield is on sale at Performance right now for $199. I luckily picked one up over the weekend when I saw they were taking an extra 20% off $199, but the website isn't showing the extra discount anymore. Keep your eyes peeled for it, though.

Also, REI has the Air Attack Shield (2014) in their Outlet Store for $165.

Some stores seem to be clearing out stuff pretty fast right now. Some good clearance deals in-store at Performance Bike (e.g. Terry gloves for only $9.99), and all sales are tax free through Sunday. Nashbar is running 20% off almost everything today + free shipping for orders over $49.

Ribble has 10% off all purchases (excluding bikes and groupsets) using code BANK10 (discount noted right on their site) through ~August 26.

Also, Mike's Bikes here in the SF Bay Area has started up their annual sale. Some also available online at Mike?s Bikes | Road, Mountain and Town Bikes, Parts, Accessories and Clothing. I didn't see much that jumped out at me, except for some Specialized arm or knee warmers for $19.99.

Virb discounts have been matched on amazon as well, though it looks like they're backordered for a while for the elite.
