Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

All I want is a fast, durable bike that I can ride for ~200 miles at a time. Jamis is almost 200 euros cheaper so I could afford to upgrade some stuff.

Short answer? No, both bikes are very similar.

I wouldn't spend much to buy one instead of the other, certainly not the price difference you mentioned.

Actually, yes, the bikes are very different. The geometries are quite different, which will affect your position on the bike. Ride them both and see which you like better.

From a quality and components perspective, they are comparable.

+1 ^. Most bikes within a given (especially lower) price range will have similar components and quality. Most people will recommend riding them to see which fits better, and if they're both comfortable or if you can't tell the difference then even just going with the LBS you like best.
