Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do you think I can get a set of those here in the states?

Hmmm, not sure. Might call your local Jiant dealer

Not as ugly as that green monstrosity but this is my franken commuter. She looks butt ugly but rides sweet and no one is ever likely to want to steal it.

Yes. Mid 90s Paris-Roubaix turned out some interesting machines.

The trainer in my gym has a saddle like that on it. I can't stay on the machine for more than 5 minutes before getting uncomfortable, cursing, and giving up.

^^^Yes, I took the photo in Taiwan which is why the characters are traditional, not simplified.

Yes, it's been known for quite a while who took that pic & where.

One should be careful with such earnest displays of minutia, lest one risk being branded a pedant.

Picked this one up while stranded in Arizona for a month without a bike. Sold it when I got out.
