Shimano road shoes - does sizing differ with model?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shimano road shoes - does sizing differ with model?

I am thinking of upgrading my shoes with an online purchase. If I know my size with one model Shimano (R064), will the same size fit in a better Shimano shoe?

I have a pair of Shimano MTB shoes and road shoes. They are both size USA 11 and seem to fit almost exactly the same. I bet you will be OK.

For what it's worth, I have Shimano R087 shoes. When I tried them on, I cross-shopped a couple of other, similar Shimano road shoes (I do not recall the model numbers). They were all the same, size wise. I ended up with a 46, and I wear a 10.5 to 11.0 in most street shoes.

lengthwise they seem consistent but widthwise they can differ depending on model.
