Saddle Bottle Cages?
I have a bottle cage holder behind my seat. I was using regular metal wire holders, but one of them broke
I tried to put on the ones I have on my frame, but the bottles are falling out from them. I believe this is because there is more vibration on the top than down the tube. Actually, it was the reason why I installed metal cages on the seat, because I was able to squeeze them tighter to hold the bottles.
I was looking at numerous bottle cages from eBay and Amazon, but they all look shallow for 24oz bottles.
Any advice on deep cages that will hold the bottle tight behind the saddle?
Here is the picture of my cage behind the seat:

On my tri bike I used the x-lab mounting system with gorilla cages.

Great cheap cages are profile design kage. They have a little rubber o-ring that helps keep the bottle tight. You have to replace the I-rings every once in awhile but they are cheap and the cages are about 10 bucks

This. I had a saddle mounted bottle cage system and these were perfect. they make a 'system' for something like $30, but the cages themselves are nice and cheap too, though I cut the tabs off the top as they were not needed. as for the bands going slack and breaking: o-rings at TH3H0MED3P0T do the trick for under a dollar each.

Yup, the PD seat post mounted dual holder works great (I think they have a single holder too). I've never launched a tall bottle, although in truth I really don't use it a whole lot.
