Another shoe question but about fit
So I have been reading the "what shoe...." thread.
I have bought two pairs since I started cycling (3 years ago) and both shoes haven't really felt comfortable overtime. Can somebody explain what comfortable shoes feel like?
The latest shoes I bought we comfortable when I bought them, but now the are too big, my feet feel like they are floating inside them. Should I buy and insoles and then go try on various shoes? Would the insole make a difference?
Thanks in advance

Personally I think insoles are a good option if your foot is such that you need them in other shoes. I'm about as flat footed as they come and have been lucky enough to find shoes that fit and feel perfect (but it took a while to find them) Specialized S-Works. In your case if the shoes you had fit nicely, were comfortable and did not result in any foot pain, but have broken in to the point where they are too big maybe a cheap insole will fill in enough...

When you have comfortable shoes, you forget you have them on, and also forget you even have feet. It feels like your legs are turning the cranks. So whatever that takes.
