    Bibs for double century

Looking for some good bibs that would be perfect a double century. Any recommendations ? I have looked at castelli, capo and suogi.

I've completed 14 double centuries since 2009 on either Sugoi RS bibs or RS bib knickers depending on weather and time of year.

A guy that did a transcontinental ride doing 80-120 miles per day told me that he usually wore an extra pair of tights or shorts...and the friction/movement between those two layers kept the inner layer from chafing his ass. I thought...well okay then if it worked for him there may be something to it...but I'm not likely to try that experiment...

Same as what you wear for a century. If you're having "difficulties," consider getting re-fit.

Castelli Free Aero Race has the best padding for the longer ride

Yup. Bring an extra pair, change behind a bush if you want.

If you have some unexpected chaffing, its good to have some butt butter to calm things down. Don't wait until its too late.

My current favourite is the Sugoi RSE, second is the Rapha Classic, third the Gore...something. The one with the Cytech pad.

this is one of those subjects that I wish there really was a good answer for. I have had shorts that work great on a 200k (126 miles) that failed miserably on longer rides. It really depends on the weather and how much sweating you are doing. One thing I would say is bring some chamois cream and put it on before you think you need it.

I only mostly wear club kits so don't have experience with this particular bib short, but I did hear that Louis Garneau Neo Power bib short is very popular.
