Help! PB Blaster Stain on Bike Frame

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help! PB Blaster Stain on Bike Frame

I was using PB Blaster to remove adhesive residue from a bike Im prepping to sale. Sprayed and returned 3 minutes later. There are light stains of orange PB Blaster on the seat tube. No stains anywhere else.

Am I out of luck with removing the stains?

I'll post this on the mechanic's forum if I were you. Quite a lot of knowledgeable people about these kind of things there.

Simple fix, spray the whole bike with PB Blaster. Problem solved.

And that's why they tell you to test before using it on paint.

Weird; I've actually used that thing to remove nasty caked on chain crap residue on my ds chain stay and it worked like a charm. Maybe try Goof Off, polishing compound???? Good luck....

The clay bar or magic eraser. I've actually got stains off my car with the eraser that the clay bar would not touch.
