Two Colangos for $2000 - How did I do?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Two Colangos for $2000 - How did I do?

I paid $2000 for these two bikes. The Ferrari is a fake, 100%. But the groupo is real, and the wheels are Reynolds with White industries hubs. The bike just flies. It weighs 16 lbs.

I wanna know if I got ripped off. And what I should do if I did, or even if I didn't. I'm a tall guy too, these are both 58cm frames and I'm 6'3". The ferrari feels small, the ESAMexico feels nice and is super responsive.

Thanks in advance.

You did well...not an outrageously good deal, but you certainly didn't overpay.

That was me, I asked the seller if making them a package deal would save me some money. It worked, saved $500. The ESA mexico for 800 and the ferrrari for 1200. I think both were fair, but honestly I'm terrible at judging.

since the the ferrari didnt fit that well, i would move the entire record group over to the mexico.

the 8 speed da are great but the campy stuff would complement the steel frame more.

2g for the pair, you did good.

I'm sorry, but you messed up.

It's Colnago, not Colango.
