Having a hard time finding Shimano E Width shoes (SH-R320E)

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Having a hard time finding Shimano E Width shoes (SH-R320E)

Did all US distributors of Shimano stop carrying E width shoes other than the R088E. We got my wife the M088E and it is great. I wanted to try an E width Shimano (other than the R088) and am not finding anything out there through usual channels.

Come on Shimano, there are more probably more cyclists with wide feet in the US than anywhere else in the world.

Not many choices left ever since both Specialized and Northwave changed their lasts to be much narrower. I tried the Specialized Pro in Wide and it was narrower than my old Carbon Soled Specialized Comp. I knew I should have bought 6 pairs of that shoe and just kept it in the house.

Yep, hard to find.
Wiggle and CRC have R170 wide at the moment.

Wide shoes aren't aero. Jk.

My main shoes are Giro Trans HV, their wide size offering. I just picked up a pair of Shimano SH-R133's and found them to be slightly wider than the Giro's.

I would go try a pair on if you haven't already. Might just work

I got my 320Es from glory cycles and had no issues. I think they didn't have 47s in stock and had to order them. It took about 5-6 days for the order to ship.

How does the sizing compare to other shoes? I am a 43 in Specialized and a 44 in the Sidi/Giro.

For me Shimano is the only brand of road shoe I have ever used/owned. Got my first pair in 2004 and IMHO the 320s are the best so far.
