Michelin PRO4 Service Course vs PRO4 Endurance

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A thorny issue! Can you really run over those with the pro4 and not flat? That's impressive.
Most of my issues are road debris left by all the awesome drivers around here crashing into each other.

(sorry for the sad but obvious pun)

Curious if you can speak to whether your Pro4E experience is with the "V2" designated models (I suppose this year's issue) or with perhaps tires purchased longer ago or technically NOS (2014 inventory)?
Reading eg. the description at Ribble, the V2 supposedly (taken with a grain of salt): "Michelin claim that the Pro4 V2 Endurance can boast a 50% increase in longevity and a 15% increase in traction based on its previous incarnation."

Sorry I'm old thread digger as always but was looking at new tires and was wondering about the michelins pro4, can't imagine the mileage is that bad though, what are you doing with them? I got 15.000 miles out of continental ultrasports riding thru bad roads and gravel and wear indicator isn't completely gone from rear tire yet, ok I weight only 140 or so but my bike is pretty heavy at 20 pounds.

Keep in mind that the Pro4's are being phased out. The replacement line is the Power series.

I get about 6000km on a Pro4 Endurance on the rear of a bike; I'm about 200 lbs.
