Is my tire ok?
 

Hello,

I was biking the other day and I was cornering over rocky terrain on my road bike. It seems to have pierced the rubber layer of my tire. Should I change the tire?

Does the tube poke out when you inflate it?

Toss a boot on it, it looks pretty minimal. If it's already an old tire, replace it.

If tube doesn't come through, should be good. I put a dab of shoe goo in cuts like that.

If you can't see chords you're good to go.

I have a similar split in one of my tires. No blemishes at all on the inside surface of the tire, or on the tube. I filled it with Shoe Goo at the direction of some others here on BF and it has been fine the past 100+ miles.

Ok all I'll that. I think I've done like 3k on these tires anyways so I ordered new tires. I'll just store them and use these for rest of season thanks!
