Heaven is...
...riding 60 km on the quiet country roads of southwestern Ontario into the sheer brilliance of the setting sun on a summer evening and coming across only one or two cars. Oh, and asphalt so pristine it feels like you're gliding.
You know it's been a good ride when you start to feel downhearted on your approach to the city because you never wanted the ride to end. I've come to treasure this time of year because of how late the sun sets. I love riding west, directly into the sun. This was taken a little after 8 pm. The sun was blinding. I don't know what those streaks are--something to do with the camera.

I miss the roads down there. It's Roubaix everyday up here.
