Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cateye MC100w not working

Hey guys my cyclometer stopped working. I took it to my lbs and the guy flicked some stuff around and it began working for a few weeks then has since stopped. I'm thinking it may be the battery bt before I buy one I was wondering if there is anything else it may be? The sensor is paying through the unit and nothing seems to be loose. Thanks guys!

I have the exact same model on my bike and once the background lighting function stopped working. No mather what I did it didn't light up, after a while my battery died completely so i changed it and the background lighting was working again. A battery change can make a big difference.

look in the left upper corner, there should be a sign that the compiter is connected with your sensor, if that's there than i guess your sensor is broken. if not the sensor might just be too far away for the computer
