Help with the annoying squeak

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help with the annoying squeak

No it's not the bike but my short and the saddle. This has never happened before but lately the squeaking sound becomes common. After 30 mins, it starts to get on my nerve. Is there anything I can apply to the saddle to get rid of the squeaking sound from the short rubbing the saddle?

you sure it's not the saddle rails squeaking in your seatpost clamp or maybe you're just a little gassy.

I'm sure it's not the saddle rails. It's the rubbing of the short with the saddle at the inner thigh area. I've tested.

Lately I've been ridden in the rain a lot. I don't know if it has anything to do with it.

I believe synthetics and a larger contact area squeak more...at least IME. It happened on my older saddle and (interestingly enough)after riding in the rain. No squeaks in my Specialized Toupe.

Interesting. It is indeed my oldest saddle and has a slightly wider nose than my other saddle. It rains and rains hard at times almost every day the last several weeks here.

Can't you see the picture in my head?

You need roller bearings implanted in your inner thighs that will silently roll over your seat.

Please keep in mind that having these bearings implanted will greatly reduce the effectiveness of your figure-four leg lock.

Ahh!! I see. And how does one expect a cyclist to wrestle with that much upper body strength?
