Help me find a jersey that fits

I have had enough of cheap jerseys and shorts. According to Castelli's size chart, I am a size large. Knowing they run small I bought an XL and it's still too small. I am 6'3" (191cm) with a 40" (101cm) chest, weight is 176lbs (80kg). Tall and skinny. I like the way the jersey fit around my chest, but it was too short and the sleeves were 3 inches above my tan lines! Ack! I am looking for a tight fit. Not compression, but no flappy material.

So does anyone make a "tall" jersey? Any brands that might actually fit me?

Help me 41, you're my only hope.

Go to Performance, find something that fits there? Guessing on size charts on the interwebz can be frustrating.

Hincapie stuff tends to be a little longer but the sizing is much more USA. For your build, probably a Medium. Try it on before you buy.

6'1" and 162lbs and I use Castelli Medium "Aero Race" jersey, but you're right, they are a little short so I make sure I'm wearing bib shorts with that jersey rather than regular shorts. I have 2 sets of tan lines on my arms, one from Castelli, and one from everything else. No big deal to me.

I also have a Castelli Large Aero Race, which fits well too, but a bit more wrinkly.

My Hincapie mediums are longer and fine to wear with non-bibshorts, but the race cut Hincapie I have is still a bit flappy.

That brings up the other half, What bibs do you use? Last time I tried them the straps were too short or I felt like I was wearing a barrel.

I have some LG's, an Assos Uno, and a performance bike one and they all feel a little tight at the shoulders at first, but once I'm on the bike I don't notice it. The Assos have fairly wide straps, so maybe that'd help? It may just be something you'll get used to.

It seems all gear runs in different sizes.

I recently got a kit from my college's cycling club. True it is race cut, which is a bit tighter anyway. But the sleeves are super short and really tight (and no my arms aren't that big). I normally wear L, and this L is the smallest large I've ever seen. They used a company I hadn't heard of before, http://www.vie13.com/

On the flip side, I also got a sleeveless LG jersey (yea I know, against the rules, but I'm a rebel). I mistakenly ordered a M. Don't know why but I decided to try it on anyway, and it actually fits very well. I do wear it once in a while, and many cyclists (yes on road bikes) wear sleeveless here in the PHX area (and it actually does feel a little cooler).
