Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do you feel better now? I ride my bike to relax and stay in shape (round is a shape, right?) If I find places to be dangerous or stressful to ride in, quess what? I don't ride there. Pretty simple. Been riding for about 30 years now and I can recall one or two instances where I felt even slightly harassed. Never recall being chased by a dog. I think I had a soft drink cup tossed at me once. but really, it you HATE all these things about cycling, perhaps you need to find another hobby, unless you have to ride to get to work.

I couldn't read past the first couple of paragraphs but I find it interesting you find the need to abbreviate the word vacation while able to type a 1000+ word post without any problem.

I read about two paragraphs and got bored. All I gathered is that you're from Florida, feel the need to write novels for posts (in a bold, red typeface with random capitalization), and have been on cows in Washington and Oregon.

Really? You think someone would take that much time crafting that poorly written of a paragraph?

I don't have the patience to read that.

I don't think anyone has read the whole thing to summarize it. We need to OP to come back and give us a short version.
