Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shogun!

Just finished it up this weekend. It's a rider/racer so a few bits and pieces were changed for safety and comfort.

700 rear, 26" front.

Surprised at how stable the bike is at speed with the small front wheel. I hit 45 or so on one downhill and it was pretty solid.

Gorgeous! You need to run it (if you haven't already) at a club TT - you could crush 'em on both time and style points.

Very nice!

My first "real" roadbike was a shogun, circa 1984. It's long gone. Still holds some sentimental value.

Consider cross posting in C&V.

And I just posted how cool vintage bikes can be in nuke_diver's thread.

Point made.

Just curious; I thought GT had some exclusive on the triple triangle. Not so I guess...

Isn't the constant downhill considered an unfair advantage ?
