Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My new Mondonico built Torelli 20th anniversary frame showed up yesterday. It's the second to last one, and now someone has ordered the last, so all 100 are gone... felt like I had to share.

very nice.

edit: nevermind Jake. You posted just after I did. I'm assuming since you have the wheel on there that you're building it up.

Thats gonna be a sweet bike!

What type/brand hub is the rear wheel built with? Very cool looking whatever it is!

With paint (Imron) I think I'm right around $1700

Torelli Modular hub. The pair are the same weight as Record, plus they are cartridge bearing, and its really easy to swap cogs on it.

Naahh, not annoying at all! We all share the same disease: bike lust. Thanks for posting the pictures - I like the chrome rear triangle and head tube lugs.

I have a Basso Ascot made from Columbus MS tubing that I'm considering having refinished with a metallic blood red / white decal scheme.

I've got a Torelli Corsa Strada I bought 8 years ago. I had my LBS order it from Torelli. I love the bike. They sell quality stuff, you won't be dissapointed.

So true, everything just clicks. Please tell me I am not seeing red on the rings. That would just be too perfect.
