Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What are these pedals?

Trying to figure out brand an info on these pedals. They are titanium spindle and only 187 grams. Seller on eBay doesn't have a clue.

Suntour superbe pro. If you're going to use clips. If they're old and the bearings need servicing and ti axles are overrated, those issues might make them less good.

I would say hipster for the bling effect too! All tho they could go plastic if they're W.W's
Other than that I don't see it either, Ti is pretty soft for MTB & BMX.

They don't look like the Suntour Superbe Pro pedals I used to own.

Offered the op a suggestion on a better old platform pedal. Sorry for the confusion.

I was just saying the ones I had back in the 80's had a much nicer finish, and a slightly different shape.

They look like Superbe Pro replicas. Close, but not the real deal.

Well they aren't old, not suntour a are brand new and weigh under 200grams and have sealed bearings. Please tell me again why they aren't good?

The haters aren't saying the pedals, specifically, aren't good; obviously they dont sh--t about 'em. What they're trying to say is that clipless pedals are the way to go for performance road riding.

Anyway, 187gm is pretty light; I'd like a set for my commuter. Regarding branding, since there isn't any, it's probably just a generic OEM that doesn't care to market to the public. It's certainly an old, low-tech design that doesn't need any brand protection, either.
