Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I did not take this photo ... Rowan did. But that's me in the photo.

Very early in the morning, about 400 km into the Last Chance 1200K back in 2005.

I did, however, take this photo. I took it with about 100 km to go on a 400K randonnee in central Alberta.

How about some more sunrise/sunset photos with bicycles?

Where we live right now the sun sets behind a mountain so it is a bit difficult to get a decent sunset photo, but we're moving in a couple weeks and sunsets might be easier to come by there.
