Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Everyone's ass is different. Nobody will be able to tell you what yours will find comfortable.

For me, they fit quite different. I can't imagine anyone liking the fit of both.

I used the Antares for a few months. It felt pretty good, but I went back to the Arione (R3 now, but the regular Kium saddle fits the same).

Like others have said, what fits my butt ain't gonna help you fit your butt. E.g., my two riding buddies love their Terry saddles. So I tried one. Starts to kill me after 40+ miles, and I find myself wishing I was anywhere but on a bike. Find what works for you.

An antares came on my bike when I bought, one couple hour ride, it was awful for me. I actually took it off and put a spech romin on it, much better. I just need the nerve channel I guess.

I say you run through Fizik's saddle chooser site (link below) and if the Arione shows-up on the list of saddles recommended for you (and so does the Antares), the buy it. However, if the Antares doesn't show-up, that may mean that what's comfy for you isn't want Fizik thinks is comfy for you. If you find a saddle shape you like, I suggest not deviating from that because you'll likely just go down a very expensive road of disappointment and pain.

The Arione is for a more aggressive riding position, I ride an Antares but it's a nice 2-3 hour saddle to me. I don't think I would be very happy on an Arione.
