Post Your Christmas Gifts!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Park Chain Checker, Kurt Kinetic Turn Table Riser, and Gloves. I am very happy with anything that makes indoor riding more interesting, but I can not wait to get outside and try the new gloves.

Been working on this for a while. Some Arundel Mandibles and the build were my Christmas presents.

Final weight will probably be closer to 13.4lbs.

I got a gift card to the LBS. I will probably just use it for boring stuff like cables/cassette/training tires.

I got two whole days to ride all to myself. Brought a smile to my face and peace of mind, just what I wanted for Christmas.

Well, it's a combination birthday/Christmas present that I've had for a month and a half now--upgrading my delightful 1980's Colnago into my dream bike. Replaced the less-than-optimal vintage drivetrain with new Campy Athena, and the heavy wheels with Velocity A23's laced to White Industries hubs. I'm a grinning fool on every ride!

My wife got me a Cateye Stealth 50 with speed/cadence and heart rate sensors. Close relatives got me a Nashbar torque wrench. Now if it would just stop raining every weekend so I can get out on the road with that new computer.

I finally found some spd-sl platform adaptors so my sister ordered them for me. They came in today but I haven't put my hands on them yet:

I got an 11-28 cassette (coming from 12-25) since I moved from flat Sacramento to hilly Monterey and am a pansy on the hills
