Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well N+1 time or I wonder if used is a mistake

I haven't ridden a drop handle bar bike in over 25 years. And that was my early 70's pug touring bike. Have been riding both mtn and hybrids since. However, after purchasing my Giant Escape RX 0 last year my wife and I are riding more and more. This year we covered over 8200 miles and that's with not being on a bike for the past 4 weeks due to my icd implant. However, I've been toying with the idea of purchasing a cheap used carbon fiber type bike to see if this kind of bike interests me. I've been trolling around during my down time and found what I think is a pretty good candidate. I pulled the trigger and it is on this way to it's new home. Not a big fan of buying bikes off ebay but since I've purchased many cars including a motorhome over the past 16 years off the venue. Why not the buyer has super feedback and only in for $700. The bike will not be here for a while but it's a 2011 Giant TCR Composite and I paid $729 shipped. What do you guys think? Here's a link to the auction.https://www.ebay.com/itm/370972392026...84.m1439.l2649

You can delete an entire thread if you started the thread. I think that the option is on the right side in 'Thread tools,' above the first post, but I could be wrong. edit - looks like this is not correct - will see if I can track down how it's done, but you may need to request a deletion.
