Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I've gotta find a good sleddin' hill around here so I can take the boy. I might wait 'til it warms up in to the high teens or so, though.

What is this thread about? I read the other XXX thread and I didn't get that one either. Two posts might be something, then next post different subject, no cohesion at all. Just seems like random thoughts.

It's mostly about average speed.

But isn't everything?

Hey @coasting I made a new batch of home brew today!

Two parts mineral spirits
Two parts 5w30
One part two stroke oil
One part Triflow.

Results to follow.

Which reminds me, RemDri is way too dry. Even ducked in the desert.

Is home brew allowed to have real lube in it?

Is this for chain lube or grease? And if for chain, is this something people actually want/use? I imagine it would be a terrible, dust, dirt magnet, super dirty and gunky.

What?!?!? Aren't we talking about a new home brew? Or are we talking about the average speed it takes for some person to move in with a girl and then get booted out?

Is there coherence in life? Or is it a series of random events?

So we went to a performance of Robin Hood at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. It was a moveable performance with three different locations that the cast and audience moved between.

It was somewhat Monty Pythonesque and very entertaining even though ostensibly it was for the kids.

We have some great acting talent in Hobart. The cast's voices were very strong, needed to combat the gale-force winds!
