Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did the first anniversary just pass? It was this time of year, wasn't it? I remember buying the bourbon about a year ago.

It was a rough year, RUOkie. Far less for me than you, but I'm thinking it can only get better for you.

You can still find the correct stem, look on ebay. Or use a shim.

Shims used to be readily available. Perhaps you are looking in the wrong place?

Yes. I am looking in Taiwan. Everything is made here and nothing is sold here!

What I used to do, was to call a manufacturer, and ask for prices for 500 and also 1000 pieces. Then ask if there are discounts for buying more than that. At the end of the conversation I would ask for a sample, so I could see one. Sometimes I would get a few samples, even though I asked for one. Also sometimes they were shipped overnight from around the globe.
