Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

well done on the weight loss everyone. I have never been fat. I think the most I've ever weighed was 75kg. I have however been unfit. cycling is a fun way to get exercise that is kind to my knees.

The vegetable medley diet starts again tomorrow. I am still under 230, I am ranging from 225 to 230. I did see 218 a month ago but then the overtime kicked in at work. I am going to set my sights on 210 as my goal weight.

EDIT: It'll have to wait till Tuesday, I forgot about the steak I need too eat tomorrow.

Wow that injury is gruesome. Legs don't usually bend that way.

I had to pre order a November, as they weren't offering black with black as an option for an inventory bike. I also ordered CX Ray spokes for the Assaults. Not sure I am confident in the ones I have. If you would have seen the wheels post wreck, you would agree.

It's a start.
