Canyon frame sizes?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hi rudi

i am at the same spot you were in last year when you ordered your Canyon. Also on a 54 cannondale CAAD9 amd now trying to decide between the 53 and 56 canyon. Did you get yours and what are your thoughts on the sizing?

First i was thinking small. But now after a few chats with various bike fitters, we compared the geometries of thebikes and all seem to recommend the 56.

Measurements
177cm
Inseam 82.5/83
Torso 64
Shouldes 42
Arm 64

Thanks!!

Hi there, I got the 56 and it's just right in fact. Im 178-179cm and a 53 would def feel on the small side. The bike it self is lovely to ride, comfortable, responsive, good on climbs and downhill. Highly recomment it.

Only thing I changed was the saddle, the Fizik Antares didn't suit me at all for some reason.
Good luck!

Have you received your Canyon yet? If so, any comments about the sizing?

I currently ride a CAAD9 in a 56 and looking at ordering a Ultimate CF SL in Medium. Don't think that my measurements are to dissimilar to yours..

175 Height
84 Inseam
