Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Even the 105's (5800) are using the composite. What's your take on them. Does this mean 105's will have gone 11 speed too?

I've been using 6700 carbon pedals for about a year and they are great. I even took a spill at 26mph around a corner and the pedal is fine, small scuff but I didn't need to replace it. 105 pedals are a great value just 10-20 grams heavier, I don't think they can be beat in the price range.

I currently have the 105 and just picked up the 6800 pedals for $110 from ProBikeKit. Just got them in Wed night.

For $110 I couldn't help myself...they're super nice pedals...
