Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey, when LoP and RW are both absent at the same time, should we assume they're busy doing the nasty?

So far I have changed the wheels, tires (twice), bars, stem, and seat (three times) on this bike. Probably barely recognizes itself.

Saddles are tough to get right, and to top it off what works this season may not next season. I had a hard time but am fairly comfortable now. But I cant remeber what the damn thing is either

i like fizik arione. i would never go out and buy an expensive saaddle like that but this one came with the frame as a freebie. eventually when it dies i might actually buy one.

before i bought the 90mm stem for my bike, i did swap the 80mm stem for my 110mm stem and rode both bikes with the swapped stems. the ladies bike with 110 rather than original 80 was very much more stable.

my first bike from the early 90s came with an old fashioned saddle like how the regal is shaped. it was absolutely comfy and lovely. i might buy a regal next time.
