Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This says it's to help with staying straight / even on the saddle. I think just the threat of having to use that would keep me pretty straight on the saddle.

...if I weren't so boringly straight, I 'd probably get one just for the increase in average speed.

I mean, you sit on something like that and you're gonna be riding as fast as possible to get the whole thing over with, right ?

I would think one would perch up on the fin, sort of like in the Americas Cup. Bound to make one pretty speedy.

It would have to be used with specially designed shorts, otherwise the padding would get in the way. But even then.....no thanks!

Could someone put "Hot Topic" on the censor list?

Toe overlap? Valve stem covers?

What's next? Shaving? Waving? Dork disks???

Sheesh.

Haha, here, let me start a conversation thats been talked about 100 times before but I'm too lazy to do a search for those, so I'll start my own and label "hot topic" - both of those threads are ridiculous.

I have never tried a hot pocket, but something tells me they are not as good as they look in the picture on the box.
