Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Seamless arm and knee warmers

Looking for suggestions. I bought some from a name brand from the local LBS and they have seams on the inside that are very uncomfortable.

Depends on the temperature I suppose. For cooler temps (40-45 deg) deFeet wool are the best.

I am looking for early spring late fall. I am in Arkansas that would probably be around 55-65.

I tend to wear my arm warmers and knee warmers rotated so the seams don't bother me. For example, I usually have the seams of my knee warmers running over the top of my knee, even though they are designed for the seams to run behind the knee.

Endura BaaBaa merino (wool) arm warmers. Or just about anything in wool.

Not sure about leg warmers.

I'm partial to the knitted type of warmer like Defeet Kneekers and Armskins especially the "woolie" merino version. I have an older pair of Adidas knit polypro Arm Warmers that I really like, too. I'm pretty lanky build and I find have an easier luck fitting knitted warmers over the lycra kind - they usually come in 2 sizes only and stretch a lot, no sagging issues. The knitted knee warmers aren't the most packable though, so if there are going to be big temperature swings during a ride, I have a pair of LG regular lycra knee warmers that stow nicely in a jersey pocket.

When it's really cold I ride full length Performance bike leg warmers with zippers. I just got back from a 23 deg ride with just these and a layer of lightweight capilene 2 thermals underneath; I was fine.

Turn them inside out and proceed, unless the fashion police are doing inspections in your area.
