I think charging 500 bucks more for the ultegra groupset than the 105 groupset (even though it has 11 vs 10 speeds) is a little too high. Not sure I'd want to pay 2250 for a CAAD 10.

I'm sure you know this, but, on amazon, there is a 250 dollar price difference on the cranksets alone and another $40-50 price difference on the wheels, the 105 bike has tektro brakes versus the ultegra brakes on the 10-3. its a higher priced bike for sure, but make no mistake, that price is easily covered by the cost diff of the group differences and a few other little details.

    then you're missing out

    2250 for a CAAD 10 with Ultegra is a legit race/fondo/sundaycoffeeride bike.

It's ok to hate on quality tho.

Its funny when people perk up and think my black/black CAAD10 is an Evo, ask me about it, and then turn their noses up to learn that it's aluminum. Marketing works, and it keeps these great frames affordable. So yes, by all means, buy the Evo, no one wants an aluminum bicycle, it's old technology.

I smoked some dudes up a climb on my Black Inc. CAAD10 and afterwords they're like, "what bike is that?" I'm like, "Aluminum CAAD10". You should see their eyes widen and they asked, "how much does it weigh?".

17.1 lbs. One guy claimed BS because his Pinarello was 17.5 and it couldn't possibly be lighter than his. Then he said it was okay because his Pinarello is more comfortable.

    Noobs these days.

Remember that it's not only the components that are better on the 10 but the wheels, stem, bar and saddle are also upgraded.

It better be. It has to offset the ugly somehow.
