Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin 810

I'm going to get a new computer & am looking at the Garmin 810. Does anyone have any feedback on the virtual racer & live tracking? I primarily ride by myself so these 2 features are of interest to me.

The unit is expensive, but currently there is a $100 rebate.

Thanks for any input.

if you buy from clevertraining.com using dcrainmaker's code you can get an additional $50 off, making it $350:

DCR10MKG

Pretty awesome deal

Livetracking works reasonable well on the 510. There's minimal cell phone drain. As for how useful, that really depends on the person on the other end.
