2006 Specialized Allez Sport -First road bike!!!(possibly)

This is going to be my first road bike. The craigslist ad said it was used very little and the pics kinda make that clear. I'm wondering if it's worth $475 though? I have an old mt bike and don't know much about road bikes or what their worth. Any tips for when I go to test ride it would be greatly appreciated as well.

Here is a pic:

Do you know if it is in your size? I am also shopping for a bike currently, with the same basic budget. I am coming from single speeds, and older tourist bikes. Personally, I have found better for 500.

Ya, its within a cm of my size. I'll test ride it for sure, but don't know exactly what to look for other than general comfort.

You should list your location, I have had other forum members look for bikes as examples on Craigslist. Also, the market varies by location some.

Yeah, looks good - but don't pay over $400.

x2 another $200 can get you a 2013/2014 model with a newer frame and components.

What's the best way to check out the frame to make sure there's no cracks? Certain spots that are prone to stress?

That would be tough to say, unless there was a defect..cracks/dents would happen after a collision, that could be anywhere really.

I agree. That bike is worth $350 on a great day no more!

$410 and it's mine. Really felt good.
