Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well there's your problem.

But seriously though, I would try a different browser.

Only way to change the field I am trying to edit is to refresh and do it again and it always takes the second time. It isn't just my IP address or cable...occurs in a couple of locations....so wondering if you other guys have this issue? This is the only forum where this occurs for me.
Anybody else?

I have a similar issue when posting a picture.

I'm using Google chrome.

always takes two attempts.

I never have an issue with a first attempt post. Just when I go back in and edit my post and then hit save and it just freezes. Refresh, edit and save and it takes. Only website that does this for me.

It happens to me also. I figured out that if you hit "go advanced" as soon as the edit screen pops up, you can spend as much time editing as you need. When your done, then hit save.

I get this when I use my tablet, with Android and Chrome. When I hit "save" on an edit, the cursor pops up to words it doesn't like, and it hangs, then continues to do it. I have found that if I go to the end of the post with the cursor, add one space, and then hit "save", it takes it every time.

On the pc, with Linux and Mozilla, no edit issues, except for content.

He probably is, for the whole 5min he stays at a party, until moving onto a much more awesome party...that he's not affiliated with.

You need an aero computer. That will make it faster.

Thanks, will try using advanced and see if that prevents freezing when saving an edited post.

Too many adds?

Ooooh-kay.

Guess you've made this a case of addition by subtraction.

I have experienced the phenomena you speak of....hasn't happened in a while though. I had another issue, maybe related, where my latest posts weren't showing up under my profile until two weeks later. the techie people handled it rather well for me, everything is hunky-dory now.
