Colnago C40 Geo restoration completed. Picked the bike up last Christmas and had a new clear coat layer applied (which took 7 months) cleaned all the components and switched saddle, stem and handlebars (and shot here with Extralite Hyperclinch wheels. Final weight 16.5lbs. Now off for a first ride...

I also like that it's glossy, but the new wheels are really unfortunate, appearance-wise. I understand they're an upgrade, but I don't understand why they have to be twice as ugly just because they're half the price of Zipp 404 Firecrest, or Mavic Cosmic Carbone 40C (which would make for a hot looking combination with this frame).
The background could have been plainer, but nice job matching the staging, by the way.

Wheel stickers are nasty, bars are higher than the saddle/beach cruiser stem-stack, tires are gray, poverty bottle cages, what is the point in doing a cut-out of the seat-tube for the rear tire if it doesn't match the shape of the tire? Not haute.
