Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm not crazy about the stem, and it looks cross-chained, but I give it a hot.

Nice cranks. Not diggin' the white bar/seat - makes the tires look lonely. Black is beautiful.

Didn't notice that at first, but now you mention it, I can't un-see it - yikes!

Colnago C40 Geo restoration completed. Picked the bike up last Christmas and had a new clear coat layer applied (which took 7 months) cleaned all the components and switched saddle, stem and handlebars (and shot here with Extralite Hyperclinch wheels. Final weight 16.5lbs. Now off for a first ride...

I also like that it's glossy, but the new wheels are really unfortunate, appearance-wise. I understand they're an upgrade, but I don't understand why they have to be twice as ugly just because they're half the price of Zipp 404 Firecrest, or Mavic Cosmic Carbone 40C (which would make for a hot looking combination with this frame).

The background could have been plainer, but nice job matching the staging, by the way.

Wheels are an easy fix, just remove all the Reynolds stickers except for the one at the valve.

Also, totally digging that Colnago.

Fire hot, would post-up upon top-tube, sip a rich crema.
