Least expensive way to get a compact crank?

I posted this in bike mechanics, but thought it may be relevant here as well:

I have been wanting to try a compact on my 2008 Felt F3. The hill to my house is 13-15% grade, and my standard road double just doesn't have enough gear to get me up the hills. I have already installed a 12-30 cassette, and that helped, but wasn't quite enough. My current crank is a 2008 Shimano Ultegra SL (6600) with a Hollowtech II BB. I would prefer to get something compatible with my current BB, so I don't have to add the expense of bearing removal tools, but if buying tools is cheaper, I'm willing to look into it. The best bet I have found so far looks like the Shimano 5750. It appears to be almost identical to my older Ultegra crank.

    Any Suggestions? Thanks!

The Hollowtech II tool isn't that much...but lots of cranks are compatible.

Shimano did make an Ultegra SL 6650 compact crank:

Also an r700 and r600. Or 5750, or...
