Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

90% of males in NC maybe. The goats are a lot fewer and farther between in CA these days than once upon a time.

I was at Princeton. Yeah I guess the goats were kind of scarce there. At least the shaved head/goatee pirate look kind of died. Except for guys with bald spots. It lasted about 10 years.

Beards make you faster by creating turbulence in the boundary layer between the relative wind and your face in the same way dimples make golf balls fly farther and Zipp wheels go faster.

At 225lbs I'm not too worried about offending them.

Shave their legs, don't shave their faces in an attempt to look manly. Seems legit.

Manages laminar air flow, like dimples.

May be less aero, but makes feeding more efficient. Different foods in different parts of the beard. Just suck some out for instant energy. Longer beards can be used to hide all sorts of useful compounds as well.
