Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Any Israelis interested in weekend rides?

If this isn't the right subforum.

I'm a regular commuter who is starting to ride longer distances for fun, but as a student I can't afford to join any of the fancy groups in town. Does anyone from around the center want to go for some long rides on a weekend morning?

Probably better to use regional forum, or better yet look into local cycling club.

datlas, i respectfully disagree. i never look at the regional subforums because outside of the usa, there are so few of us in each country that if you go in those forums, you can see the tumble weed blowing across the digital landscape.

That's sad. I trust you on this one.

But I stand by my advice to find a local bike club and/or shop ride rather than posting in a worldwide forum with a primarily North American presence.
