Hi,
I have 2 perfectly good sets of SKS fenders that are just too big for
standard reach brakes. So I need to get a new set. The bike is a pale orange, kinda like a Creamsicle.
My first thought was Berthoud Carbon fenders, then I saw the price.
So now I am trying to decide between black Planet Bike fenders, Stainless Berthoud fenders, and another set of SKS which are kinda silvery. Did I mention the saddle was a green Brooks? Yeah. I'm gonna look like an idiot. I think I will put a lycra cover on the saddle this year, and get the bike repainted next year. Anyway, back to fenders.
I know the wood fenders would look great, but they're too expensive, and I'm not sure they would work with my brakes. Maybe I can convince the boss I can't live without them...
