Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have stuck my nose in TH for the past week, largely for the same reason I put a cigarette out on my arm 25 years ago. I wanted to see if it would hurt.

Well, hopefully it's just down.

I quit my job and I'm working on a resume, I suck at resume's. I'm considering paying someone, but by the time I give them all the info I might as well have just done it myself anyways.

He is doing a little better. Still vomiting but his numbers are improving. That doesn't mean that much while he's on the IV fluids but it's better than the numbers getting worse. Most importantly he does have a urinary tract infection, so if the problem is a kidney infection there is a chance it's all reversible.

The funny thing is that the dogs are not allowed in the bed. But when I look for pics of this dog, every single one of them is him
in the bed.

31 miles in the early AM heat, hot day here in the 90s. Love this weather (I'm out there between 6-9AM). Losing weight. Hills are getting considerably easier. I'll keep at it. I'll be down to race weight by November. I'll race then.

Oh wait. There are no races then.

There you go.

I'm good. :-)

Still having bouts of fatigue, but since I quit my job I'm feeling mentally lots better.

I don't know how coasting would look in a skirt, perhaps a kilt.

How's the pepper crop this year LAJ?

I've just discovered Chloe got in the bathroom trash and she wagged her tail at me in a very unrepentant manner.

The funny thing is that he can't get in the bed on his own, he is only 8 inches tall and the bed is way too high for him to jump. Mr H would never put him in the bed. The only way he could get there is for me to pick him up and put him there. So I guess it's me breaking the rules all the time. I'm obviously not that committed to the rules.

That's good to hear, Makel.

coasting has to wear a skirt, because I honestly doubt there is a coasting tartan.

Mrs LAJ has 200? varieties coming up. There was some hail damage, so she cleaned up the damaged plants, and they are coming around nicely.
