Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Road Cycling/Racing Novels

Looking for a good read these days, fiction or non-fiction. Any recommendations? Btw, I'm not looking for one of those training bible books.

Thanks

I'm currently reading Blazing Saddles for the third time. The Tour Is Won On The Alpe is a good read as well.[h=1][/h]

Good question. I can't offer any suggestions, but am also interested in what other folks have to offer.

Thanks for the mention! Glad you enjoyed it!

I'm currently working on a time travel cycling fiction story that aims somewhere between Hitchhiker's Guide and Woody Allen. Not sure what'll become of it. But it's been fun to work on so far.
Since they don't do fiction, VeloPress has already passed on this one.
