Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bont Vaypor+ and Shimano SPD-SL cleats- Has anyone had any issues?

I was about to purchase some Bont Vaypor+'s when I came across a thread saying some people have struggled with these shoes when using Shimano SPD-SL cleats, which I use. The issue they state is that because the cleat is quite curved, and the sole is flat, it doesn't fit well, and results in bending of the cleat, or the cleat wobbling.

Has anyone got any personal experience of this?

I have the Bont Vaypor + and use the Look Keo cleat with Exustar pedal. My cleat is also slightly curved, but you can clearly see in the photo below that the bottom of the sole is not flat and does have a slight curve as well.

Luckily, i was just reheat molding them and saw this at the right time before putting my cleats back on. (Ive got a pretty heavy review of these shows about half way down the main page if you are interested)
