Fuji Newest 1.0 Road bike
I'm new to cycling. I was getting into it for fitness and to do less running. So I bought a hybrid. A trek fx 7.3. It's a nice bike for fitness. Then I got into triathlons and of course quickly realized hybrids are not great for speed. With that being said I'm not into a tri-bike since I would still like to have comfortable long bike rides. So I want a decent road bike but I'm just not willing to shell out too much money. Does the Fuji listed above seem like a good deal? It does to me but I'm a novice?
update:
from on what I can tell it's this 2010 model

It's a decent deal, though I'd either haggle down to $400 or wait til you could get a decent deal on a really good bike.
If you could pay around $500, you can get pretty high end road bikes for real cheap.
I bought a $3600 bike with a complete dura-ace set weighing about 15 lbs, in near perfect condition for $600. Haggled price down from $700 cuz chain broke while I was testing it (got it fixed at LBS for $5 LOL).
All about being patient.
Then again, this is the cheap college student who was scouring craigslist for weeks talking. And I was lucky that the bike fit me well.
Cheers!

Its possible to get a mid level road bike for a steal. High end bikes are rarer so you have to be very patient.
If you like to go fast, its well worth the wait. Good luck!

I'm concerned I'll buy too little bike and then have buyers remorse. I've already
Got buyers remorse with my trek hybrid. It's a nice bike but just not what I want right now.
I can afford more I just have to get my wife on board
