Home UltraFast Optimization
According to these guys, a factory chain has 10 watts of friction out of the box, 6 watts after being cleaned, and 5.5 watts after being optimized. They use industrial cleaners and laboratory coating applicators to optimize you chain. Price is $76 to optimize your own chain or you can buy one for $99 (DA 9000).
Anyone ever try this? If you are 45 kg, 5 watts is a 0.10 increase in your w/kg

The funny part is, that some people will probably buy it. You need not look further than "cable-risers" and "timing clock" (yes, that's an alarm clock you place in the room to aid with the "timing" of audio propagation in the room (!!)) in the audiophile world.
People will certainly buy stuff, even if most people see it as a joke, and there is no actual benefit in it.

I think the 3-4 Watt is legit. You can almost blow my kid's drive train around.
