My friend from Hervey Bay says I'm not allowed to talk to New Zealanders. He does say the country is gorgeous though.

I have great concern for the health and well being of some of you.
First, no matter what you do, DO NOT CYCLE THROUGH THE OZARKS!!!!!! Never mind the constant holling hill nature of the area. It's the shot guns that concern me most.
Secondly, I thought the purpose of this Tour de Addiction was to visit the home cycling areas of the contributors, not that @gnome, @Machka and myself should come to you.
Therefore, there must be Southern Hemisphere legs to this Tour. Trust us, we have some excellent cycling. You could fly, or sail as @Heathpack has suggested, into Auckland. From here we ride down to Wellington, catch the inter-island ferry to the South Island and swing by to collect Gnome.
To get over and see Machka and Co. We'll either have to fly or sail again. I would volunteer the Fred Family yacht, but, it's not reasonably capable accommodating more than 6 offshore and there certainly isn't room for bicycles. So, unless one of you have a long range private jet, we're probably stuck flying commercial.
But, Australia also has some gorgeous riding. As long as we're not trying to go upwind.

Current temp is 51F. I might have to throw on some arm warmers for my after work ride!

This tour should totally include a voyage down under on @Heathpack's yacht.

Our friends kids and the neighborhood kids got me pegged for a sucker for sure.
I get to go pick up $10 worth of crappy chocolate bars today, can't wait to get the $20 of bacon etc.... When the kids are desperate for ice cream truck money they make crappy rubberband bracelets and sell them to me for a dollar to two, these go straight in the trash. I'm a sucker.
Peppermint tea is awesome on my tummy, this is great except I was supposed to buy Spearmint tea. Anyone want 8oz of dried organic peppermint leaves?
I'm applying for a federal job right now, it's taking forever and ever.
I'm never going to find a job
Alfalfa fields smell sweet on light breezy days.

I started a new poll thread and, while I want everyone to feel free to weigh in, I do not- seriously, I mean it- want anyone cluttering it up with unnecessary boobage and getting it shut down early like happened last time. I was oh so careful writing and posting the thread because this is a very important question. So if you feel the need to put up pix of Liz Hatch or anyone else in the biking sex bomb pantheon, you just do that here and not in my new thread. Thank you for your support.
Woooowhoooooo! Boobies.......brb!

Colorado. That's why @LAJ is terrified.
She's going to be dying when she uses the peppers if she's not careful.

You can talk to Kiwis. That's just fine. And, us expats living here as well. Aussies on the other hand. Well,,, I'd make sure to count your fingers after every hand shake.

A (black) bear isn't going to attack you in a tent unless you have food around. #BearFunFacts
