Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I used to mope around and occasionally cry on the day my Mariners were eliminated from the postseason. They pissed me off so much the last few weeks, I couldn't get unangry enough to feel despair. One more time, McClendon: If you don't manage for September in September, you won't have an October.

Sorry about your mom, Pcad. I'm sure your folks knew how much you loved them. Parents are good about that even if we don't tell them and I'll bet you told yours a lot.

PS A Sleestak in a suit is way better than the demonic clown. However, my contest was to include a prize for you if you changed your avatar, plus a prize for the person who supplied the winning avatar (the one you were willing to change to). You should have held out.

Yes, but it is gratifying that almost no useful information has been posted in the replies. The thread is being given appropriate treatment. We await your contribution.

Why is A&S bleeding into road, and when did nose and ears stop being the proper place to hold glasses? Who's in charge of this hamster wheel?

I mentioned helmet and Darwin Award. That should get it pushed to A&S instantly, right?
