Veet Hair remover. Put on a pair of speedos (the original bikini kind) and everything below that.

I've shaved in Anchorage a couple of times.

Seriously though, on my legs, there is a natural break in the hair. On the outside, hair runs out at my hip. On the inside, there's a point where it transitions to pubic hair where I stop.

I tried Nair and Veet one season and it did not work nor did it feel nice. I like the razor.
I had an ex-gf's mom who was an aestecticianand offered me a full wax once. Awkward but I have considered it.

Epilators are MUCH better than shaving, and almost as nice as waxing. No stubble or maintenance for weeks.

Any experience with the Nono? They look good but are expensive at $270.
On the shaving front wouldn't you ask your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner what they prefer? I shave all the way up to my pecs because my GF likes chest hair

Nope. City guys trying to be Real Men(TM) shave with a dull Bowie knife they bought for 400 dollars from Knives-R-Us. Dull because they didn't want to get the $200 leather case for their $150 sharpening set dirty.
Real men use a really really really sharp Bowie knife made from an old leaf spring off a car and a hand carved handle, sharpened with a 25 year old whetstone and a leather strap.

Oh so humorless. What'd you do? Nick yourself? But I do agree on your Real Man observation.
The sharpest knife I have is not some 440 SS blade but a 60 year old Japanese filet blade of high carbon laminated steel finished sharpened with a diamond hone. I might dress it with a Arkansas stone but my 50 year old carborundum stone is for pre-sharpening/blade angle shapeing. A Bowie knife is a great movie prop. I really like high carbon blades but they need TLC to prevent rust.
Regarding the OP's question, I 'taint going there.
