Lost mount for front bike light, any idea about a DIY solution?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lost mount for front bike light, any idea about a DIY solution?

I bought a Bell lumnia200 years ago and recently realized I lost the mount. So I am left with a functional light but no way to use it. Just wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem and has a solution without shelling out $ just for a piece of plastic.

Use the Live Strong light holder. You just take one of those old wristbands and slip it under the handle bar. Then pull-up both ends and slip the front and back of the light through the band loops.

In a pinch.... this will work with any flashlight and with any heavy rubber band or slice of old inner tube.
